Adults: Read 15 hours and earn a $10 fine waiver and an enamel pin.
Kids and Teens: Read 15 hours and earn a free book.
Pre-readers: Participate by completing activities with their caregiver and earn a free book.
More Prizes: Everyone receives a tote bag when they sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge. In addition to prizes you'll earn for reading each week, you will automatically be entered into a weekly raffle, and have a chance to earn prizes like sporting tickets, ferry passes, and other goodies. Raffle drawings occur every Monday beginning June 10 through July 29.
Finish by July 31th. Prizes can be picked up until August 15th.
Enjoy a drawing demonstration and learn about his process. Zachariah OHora is the author-illustrator of the acclaimed books No Fits, Nilson!, My Cousin Momo, and The Not So Quiet Library, and the illustrator of the New York Times bestseller Wolfie the Bunny. Artwork, based on his book, Bikes For Sale, is featured in this year's Summer Reading promotional material.
