Fairfield Civic Center Library offers free citizenship programs

By Miguel Loeza

Legal permanent residents and naturalization applicants are invited to two free citizenship programs at the Fairfield Civic Center library.

A staff led citizenship practice test will take place on March 6, 2018 from 6-7:30 pm. Participants will learn U.S. geography, government and history to prepare for the citizenship exam and take a practice test.

A naturalization information session led by a representative from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will take place on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 12-2 pm. Participants will learn about the application process, fees, test and the interview.

The programs will take place in the Becker-Balmer Meeting Room of the Fairfield Civic Center Library. The library is located at 1150 Kentucky St.
