California Raptor Center: Birds of Prey at Springstowne Library

Vallejo, CA – Come learn about birds of prey! Birds of prey, also known as raptors, will visit the Springstowne Library on September 30th at 3 p.m.  Children and their families can get up close and personal with a hawk, owl, eagle or kestrel! Representatives from the California Raptor Center at UC Davis will bring rescued birds and present interesting facts about these winged predators.

The library is one of two in Vallejo.  The library offers a variety of services such as Internet access, both on public computers and wi-fi, programming and events for all ages, and a collection of popular print and audiovisual materials.
