Suisun City Library will host a science lesson and ultraviolet (UV) light detector activity on Thursday, Sept. 28 from 3pm-4pm. Participants will learn about UV radiation, ways we can protect ourselves from the harmful effects of UV rays to people on Earth, and how astronauts protect themselves while in space. Kids will make and take home a UV light detector.

The Suisun City Library is located at 601 Pintail Drive in Suisun City.
