Citizenship Programs Offered at Fairfield Library

By Michelle Franzen

The Fairfield Civic Center Library will present two citizenship programs in October.

A library staff led U.S. citizenship practice test will be offered on Wednesday, October 4 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Residents about to take the test can learn about geography, government and history utilizing questions provided by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

A naturalization information session lead by a representative from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will be on Wednesday, October 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. The program will cover topics such as the naturalization process, the naturalization test and the rights and responsibilities of U.S. citizenship. Those who attend will also have a chance to ask questions.

The library is located at 1150 Kentucky St. in Fairfield. For more information, contact the Library at 1-866-57-ASKUS. To learn more about the services provided by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service, visit
