Afternoon Adventures: Garden Crafts with Master Gardeners

By Michelle Franzen

On Wednesday, March 28th from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., children and their families are invited to “spring” into the Fairfield Civic Center Library for a garden craft program.  In celebration of the making of the library’s new sensory garden, UC Davis Master Gardener volunteers will have different crafts that children can make for their own gardens. Participants will be able to make a birdfeeder, a bee shaped plant stake, and a sunflower seed starter.

This program is free thanks to the Fairfield-Suisun Friends of the Library. The library is located at 1150 Kentucky St. in Fairfield. For further information call 1-866-572-7587 or look on the Library website at
