5/12 - Two New Members Join the Solano County Library Foundation

The two newest members joining the Solano County Library Foundation will add legal, financial and graphics skills to the non-profit group that funds literacy programs for hundreds of local families.
Amy Mason of Vacaville and Alfonso Poire of Fairfield were appointed to the Board of Directors in a unanimous vote recently.
Mason has served as a computer docent in the Vacaville Library. She is a member of the Solano County Civil Service Commission and the Board of Directors of San Francisco Samoa Rescue. She is retired from the banking profession with a background in human resources. She brings computer, graphics, research and public relations skills to the Foundation board. She is a graduate of the University of California, Davis.
Poire, an attorney with a degree from Boalt Hall School of Law at UC Berkeley, works for Gaw, VanMale, Smith, Myers & Reynolds in Fairfield. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the Family Support Network in Napa. He was a two-term member of the Napa Civil Grand Jury.
