ABOUT THE SUMMER READING CHALLENGE

  • Registration begins June 1, 2024 and runs through July 31, 2024. You may register in person at your local library or click HERE to sign up online.
  • The Summer Reading Challenge is open to all ages. Readers will receive a gameboard to track their minutes of reading during the Summer. Non-readers will receive a game board to track fun activities.
  • Children will receive a free book at registration. After finishing their game board, children will earn a second free book and a tote bag.
  • Teens will earn a free book and tote bag when they complete their game board.
  • Adults will receive a special Summer Reading Challenge enamel pin and tote bag when they finish their game board.
  • Registrants are automatically entered into weekly drawings for Oakland A’s and San Francisco Giants ballgame tickets.
  • Participants may only complete one game board during the Summer Reading Challenge.
  • Participants must pick up their prizes at a Solano County Library branch. We will not mail prizes to anyone.
