The Invention of Hugo Cabret
By: Brian Selznick
Review by: Nahyun R
This is my 6th time reading this book. But it never gets old, this author, Brian Selznick with lot of amazing drawings, he creates most brilliant story you’ll ever read. This book looks thick but it doesn’t have much writings. But it has a lot of drawings that makes up most of the story. So even though you hate thick books, this book is worth trying. This book is about an orphan boy named Hugo trying to get this auto man to work, which is left by his father. And he has to still gears from toy booth and goes through a lot of tough things. With little help of toy booth girl, he gets auto man to work and discover an amazing secret you’ll never imagine. I think this book is for all ages if you can read. And recently this book was also made in to a movie. But I think this book is way better, so read this book before you watch the movie!
