Aunt Wanda

Aunt Wanda, Aunt Wanda, your passing we mourn
Death is not comparable to being born
Death is the catalyst of your loved ones feeling torn

I did not visit much, you lived much too far
And I could not drive a car

You looked salubrious and perfectly fine
Just like a butterfly
But when we found out that you had "Lou Gehrig's"
We had to cry

Eventually you could not walk
And quite soon could not talk

I wish we had more time
You're still always in my mind
