Fear Won’t Let You Escape

 Fear won’t let you escape,
 It Talks through slits and whispers its frightening words,
 It wears a long, dark cloak and brings about a mysterious aura,
 It glides through the thick, dark mist of night,
 It laughs at the pitiful sight of your sobbing face,
 It smiles as you sit there weeping.
 Fear won’t let you escape.

I like how the poem refers fear as it is living! Great way to let the reader know what you're talking about.
