My Crazy Summer
By: Shaylyn N
On May thirty-first, everybody was sitting on the edge of their seats, waiting for the final bell to ring that would change us from seventh graders to eighth graders. At 3:09 P.M. it rang.
My grandma picked me up after school and we talked during the whole ride about what we were going to do together this summer. Little did I know that she was planning to buy me season passes to Six Flags! I was so surprised when she did. She got my family and me the “Gold Membership” so we got a lot of coupons.
One time I went to Six Flags with my friend and my cousins and their friend. We had so much fun! Well... except for when we got stuck on the loop of the Medusa for ten minutes! Even though we weren’t stuck up there for long, it felt like forever! I was so scared. People were looking up at us with wide eyes, afraid we might fall. Finally, some mechanical engineers came and got us down. My friend immediately ran to the bathroom and threw up the pizza we had earlier. It was a good day for the most part, a day I will never forget.
Honestly, no matter how crazy my summer has been, I have to say it was one of my favorite summers ever. It was so much fun. I wish this summer would last forever.
This summer I will always think of as the craziest summer I’ve ever had. I mean, how many other people could say that they’ve gotten stuck on the loop of the Medusa for ten minutes?
I can’t wait to tell everyone about the crazy summer I’ve had! I’ll start off the story with “One fun, crazy day…”
